Ethics Committee
Ethics Committee is a small independent department responsible for reviewing containment procedures and checking conducted experiments for excessive waste or inappropriate use of Class D employees and other resources. The Committee's existence is thought to be a poor joke by some, but it plays a significant role in the Foundation's operation and is quite influential.
Junior Committee Member:
Junior Committee Members are entry-level positions on the Ethics Committee. You'll assist in ethical reviews, policy recommendations, and ethical consultations.
Committee Member:
Committee Members play a significant role in shaping the ethical standards of the SCP Foundation. Your responsibilities include reviewing ethical concerns, making policy recommendations, and participating in ethical debates.
Senior Committee Member:
Senior Committee Members have an elevated level of responsibility within the Ethics Committee. Your role includes providing leadership and expertise in ethical matters, guiding ethical policies, and leading ethical reviews.
Ethics Investigator:
Ethics Investigators specialize in examining ethical violations and ethical concerns within the SCP Foundation. You conduct investigations, gather evidence, and provide reports to the Ethics Council.
Ethics Council:
The Ethics Council comprises the most influential and respected members of the Ethics Committee. You oversee ethical decisions, set policies, and ensure the ethical integrity of the Foundation's actions and operations.
Regulatory Inspector:
The Regulatory Inspector is a uniquely powerful individual within the Ethics Committee. They have the authority to change the Committee's Code of Ethics (CoE) at a moment's notice, reflecting their exceptional influence and importance in upholding the ethical standards of the SCP Foundation. There can only be one Regulatory Inspector, and their decisions hold significant weight in shaping the Foundation's ethical principles and policies.
