Medical Department

The Foundation's Medical Department is responsible for keeping employees in good health. Due to the nature of Foundation work, medics often encounter difficult to treat and highly unusual instances of wounds, trauma, infections, and disorders. Because of this, the MD adheres to exceptionally high personnel standards. Some Foundation medics specialize in secondary areas of treatment expertise such as memetic influences, psychological trauma, and so on.



Intern:

As a medical intern, you are in the early stages of your medical career at the SCP Foundation. Your role primarily involves observing and assisting more experienced medical staff, learning about the unique medical challenges presented by SCP entities, and supporting patient care.


Junior Resident:

Junior Residents take on more significant clinical responsibilities, actively participating in the treatment and evaluation of SCP personnel and entities. You'll be responsible for basic medical procedures, patient care, and medical record-keeping.


Resident:

Residents continue their medical training and education within the SCP Foundation, specializing in the medical needs and anomalies associated with SCPs. Your role includes diagnosing and treating anomalous conditions and assisting with research and containment efforts.


Senior Resident:

Senior Residents are experienced medical practitioners within the SCP Foundation, responsible for leading medical teams, making critical medical decisions, and mentoring junior staff.


Physician:

As a Physician, you are a highly skilled medical professional with expertise in handling SCP-related medical challenges. Your role involves leading medical teams, conducting advanced research, and providing specialized care for personnel and entities affected by SCP anomalies.


Doctor:

Doctors are senior medical professionals within the SCP Foundation, responsible for making critical medical decisions, overseeing medical departments, and collaborating with other departments to address medical concerns related to SCPs.


Surgeon:

Surgeons have specialized training in performing medical procedures, especially those related to the surgical treatment of SCP-related injuries and conditions. You'll be responsible for critical surgeries and medical interventions.


Medical Board:

Members of the Medical Board are responsible for setting medical policies and standards within the SCP Foundation. Your role involves reviewing and approving medical procedures, research protocols, and ensuring the highest level of medical care.


Director:

The Director of the Medical Department is the highest authority in medical matters within the SCP Foundation. You provide leadership and strategic direction, overseeing all medical operations, and ensuring the health and well-being of Foundation personnel and SCP entities.
